release so I want to play a little it talk a little bit about it too

[Music] all right I’m going to tease you a little bit there uh that was Brick by Brick off our new EP winbag that just dropped today July 17th so um yeah happy birthday windbag and congratulations to everyone involved we appreciate everyone’s hard work and it took a lot a lot of work so um we appreciate everyone um jumping in and help us out so angel thank you is in the chat let’s see impolite Society band is in the chat thank you for joining so I’m just going to play through a couple things and maybe talk a little bit about uh some themes or lyrics maybe for a little just a real short stream uh so yeah this album let’s see probably started at the beginning of 2023 end of 2022 and then we wrote for probably almost the year and then um we had some lineup changes and things like that and Hillary came in around August and we recorded this between Christmas and New Year’s of uh 23 to 24 so this pasted and then finally it’s released it in July so it took a lot of work just to get all the art and recording and mixing and mastering done and our drummer Brenton did all that for well he did the mixing and mastering and recording and all that so um yeah just uh wanted to stream and celebrate and yeah we’ll talk about some things and go through some images maybe uh that song was Brick by Brick and that was about an old Edgar Allen Poe uh story called Cas of am monato about a guy who is gonna try to kill someone who he thinks has like done him wrong so he tricks him into going into like the catacombs to drink really like rare wine and then bricks him up um still alive behind a brick wall and just leaves him there um so yeah that I don’t know why what made me think of that and put those two together but Shane brought that riff in originally and then he he just kind of dumped all these parts on the table um I put maybe a part or two in there we arranged it and there it was and then Hillary came in and threw vocals on top which is always awesome and and yeah so the next song I’m going to play is called Brown acid and um hold on one sec Dr Bendy straw thank you for joining it’s called Brown acid and it’s about um a say a a fictitious uh happening at uh Woodstock 69 so there was an announcement that went out um I wasn’t I wasn’t there but uh it’s on a recording about like um the brown acid being tainted or something and not not very good and um it made everyone who took the brown acid freak out so uh it’s kind of like a self-fulfilling prophecy and I thought that was kind of interesting and um could make a cool lyrics so yeah I kind of tried to put myself in that position and uh right from there and then the song has a little interesting thing to it as well it’s in um some of it or most of it is in five 54 kind of like um take that uh take that take five take that uh take five by Dave Breck so listen for that and yeah you you will hear the brown AET announcement at the top of this um track and yeah everyone just make let me know in the comments that you can hear this stuff too as well please all right here we go bris

all right meant to stop that after the solo um yeah so thank you very much um in poite society and um crybaby cult we appreciate it um yeah the groove oh man that’s what we try to focus on um more than anything so we really appre appreciate that uh let’s see uh I think maybe lyrically the most the more interesting of the two I mean the the two more interesting of the four um let’s see we’ve recorded up in soundmine which is in straussburg um shout out to them they were awesome had some awesome gear we were able to play on we had two days to record it in so um oh and shout out to Angel Of course for not only working on the artwork but recording the recording of and um H having two days worth of footage to go through and uh reassemble into a documentary so we’re going to be releasing that hopefully pretty soon I just have to get through through watching everyone do takes and takes and takes of uh the same song so uh yeah we’ll be cutting that together soon and releasing that I’m trying to think uh if there’s anything else I should be touching on feel free to throw it in the chat and I’ll read it off um let’s see we we’ll go one more this one’s called the fall and I think it’s I would say about I don’t know everyone’s got kind of Cycles in life and at on just because you’re at a high point or just because you’re at a low point doesn’t mean you’re always going to be at that higher low point so um yeah just something to keep in mind whenever you’re at the opposite end of uh that Spectrum all right this one was also brought in by Shane this this initial riff as well and this wasn’t planned at all but the time sign there’s a lot of kind of um not I guess odd time signatures so a lot of this is in seven so if you count it off it’s one two three four five six seven one two three four five six seven so look out for that and yeah oh I’m sorry you can uh of course stream the entire thing on uh Spotify Apple we’re waiting for it to upload on YouTube unfortunately uh but all of the major streaming platforms and yeah please please give us a like and give us a stream we really appreciate it and I’ve been putting a lot of hard work in here so um let’s see I want to shout out to band too we have Hillary on base Brenton on drums Shane was on guitar for the recording we just got uh Steve on guitar um so shout out Steve we’re already writing kind of like the next stage of the band which is super exciting so uh I think we’re going to be oh B Camp thank you yeah so we’re g to be I think going right back in the studio after this while uh we write simultaneously okay last one this one’s called The Fall here we go

oh yeah you guys know who are in other bands you know what it’s like to work so hard and then be done with it and then you’re kind of over it and people haven’t even heard it yet but you’re already moved on to the next thing I feel like that’s what we’re choing bit to get
